Disc Golf Course
This disc golf course includes 18 holes. There is a walking trail to get to the golf course and the lights are on from dusk until 10:30 pm. Golfers report that the course is nicely maintained, but it gets muddy after it rains. See here for information about Resoft County Park in Alvin, Texas.
About the Park
It’s not just the disc golf that’s great about this park. Located at 3625 Briscoe Drive, the park covers 42 acres with lots of open space. Not only is the disc golf course lighted, but there are also two lighted football fields and two lighted soccer fields.
There is also a handy half-mile walking path connecting the park to Alvin Community College. If you have dogs, there’s a 1.7-acre dog park. For the kids, you’ll find a playground and plenty of open fields for running. Grownups will enjoy the picnic pavilions with tables and fishermen will like the fishing pond.
