Fields and Fishing

Amenities
Resoft County Park contains pavilions that can be rented for gatherings and picnic areas with barbecue pits. There are paved trails for hiking. There are five little islands in the lake that make great backdrops for wildlife photographers. There are wooden piers in the lake and there is a paved trail all the way around the lake.
Rookery
If you love bird watching, Resoft County Park is considered a premier rookery. A rookery is a place where water birds go to nest and raise their babies. Resoft regularly has Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Roseate Spoonbills, Tricolored Herons, Little Blue and Snowy Egrets.
The Ducks
Resoft is famous for all the ducks. Mallard and Muscovy Ducks are known to lay their eggs around the pavilions. It’s one of the most popular activities for the kids – feeding the ducks. Also, at some point, someone introduced Egyptian Geese to the park, and they are thriving there.
