Roofing Styles
Once you’ve made all the preliminary choices for your pool enclosure, you and your contractor have to design your custom enclosure so that it looks beautiful.
Probably the most important design consideration is the shape of the roof. The roof will have a big effect on the final cost of the enclosure. Below are three popular roof styles.
Mansard, Hip, and Dome
Mansard roofs are popular because they have an open design and can be quite tall so your enclosure feels spacious. Hip roofs are better at standing up to high winds. Dome roofs are harder to construct and therefore will cost more. Also, many people don’t like the aesthetics of a dome roof. Check out pictures of all three styles before you commit.
